[Replay] Touraine Sauvignon & Loire Valley PGIs : great value wines with real personality

This session is part of a serie called : 'Time for a trip to the Loire Valley: Tuesday, market day in the Loire Valley to discover its diversity, its richness', presented by Henri Chapon.

After 16 years spent in England where he worked as Head Sommelier at the prestigious 2* Michelin Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfrod, then as Food & Beverage Director for the Hotel du Vin Group under the direction the Best Sommelier of the World - Gérard Basset, Henri returned to Touraine where he was born. He then co-managed a training center specializing in wine knowledge and wine tasting for winegrowers and restaurateurs. Passionate about sharing knowledge earned during his career and traveling to vineyards around the world, he continues today to provide training while giving talks at wine fairs and wine seminars.
Henri holds several titles including the prestigious WSET Level 4 and Master Sommelier exams (currently less than 300 graduates worldwide), Best Sommelier in the UK and 3rd Best Sommelier in Europe.
